The Fall River, New Bedford, and Attleboro campus Library Learning Commons have group study rooms available to students, faculty, and staff affiliated with Bristol Community College for group study and library research projects.
You can reserve group study rooms through our Reservations System. Please choose a campus and use the drop down menus.
Rooms are available for groups as large as 8 (depends on the room—be sure to read details when reserving).
Reservations may be made up to 2 weeks in advance.
No individual may have more than 3 pending bookings at one time within the two-week period.
Reservations must be made at least one day in advance.
Same day requests are generally not honored but may be possible depending on availability.
Group study rooms cannot be booked for entire classes.
Reservations will expire after 15 minutes if no one from the group claims the room.
Reservations are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis.
Group study rooms are not to be used for committee meetings, lectures, or seminars.
They are not to be used in place of the classroom assigned by the Registrar.
While designed for collaborative work, rooms are not soundproof.
Please use headphones for playing music or videos.
Be mindful of sound levels—sound carries throughout the LLC.
Do not move additional furniture into study rooms; leave rooms as you found them.
When not in use by groups, these rooms may be used as study or tutoring space.
