Bristol Community College students, faculty, and staff are required to use their Bristol Community College Campus Card/ID to borrow materials.
Community patrons and alumnae must apply for a Bristol/HELM Community Member card for use at Bristol Community College campuses only. An ID will be required with a filled out and signed application.
Individuals are responsible for all materials borrowed.
Borrowing privileges may be suspended due to excess fines or overdue materials.

$1.00 Fine per day that item is overdue.
Renewals may be completed over the phone, in person at any campus, or through the HELM Online Catalog.
Most items may be renewed online through your account. You are responsible for renewing items you have checked out, on or before the due date to avoid overdue fines and replacement fees.
Bristol Community College Libraries does not charge overdue fines for books that are not returned on time.
A $1.00 per day fine will be charged for videos and CDs that are overdue.
Bristol patrons borrowing materials owned by other libraries within HELM or through interlibrary loan may be charged overdue fines according to the lending libraries’ policies.
In the event that an item is lost, Bristol patrons are expected to pay the current replacement price and a processing fee.
Materials damaged beyond use, or not returned, are subject to a $5.00 replacement fee in addition to the cost of replacing the item.
All Bristol Community College borrowers incurring $10.00 or more in fees/fines will have their Library Learning Commons borrowing privileges suspended until their account is settled.
