The Library Learning Commons (LLC) is the central hub for tutoring at Bristol Community College, housing both the Writing Center and subject-based tutoring.

Please note: We're able to cover more courses by appointment than by drop-in, so if you don't see a drop-in for your course or that works with your schedule, appointments may give you additional options.

Writing Center one-on-one appointment requests are only considered for times outside of drop-in hours; to make a request, please email WritingCenter@bristolcc.edu with the needed time request. Please list up to three different options.

For Summer 2024 the Writing Center email is not accepting submissions; Please see above for Writing Center drop-in schedule and for asynchronous review, visit Brainfuse below. 

The Writing Center also offers emailed reviews of completed or partial drafts. Please submit your draft (as a .doc or .docx file), the assignment sheet, and three concerns about your writing to WritingCenter@bristolcc.edu. This email should come from your Bristol email account, and your student ID number should be included in your message.

This service is offered Monday through Friday, with a general turnaround time of 24 - 36 hours (so please plan accordingly).

Need tutoring when Bristol's tutors aren't available? Try Brainfuse! Bristol students get up to ten free hours of live online tutoring per term, as well as unlimited free use of the non-live features under "Academic Tools" (such as SkillSurfer and eParachute).
