Bristol librarians are available to help you with your research. We provide guidance in locating information and using resources available through the library and on the internet. If you need research help, using the chat box is a fast and easy way to reach out to us!
Set up an appointment with a librarian for an hour of 1-on-1 help. During COVID restrictions the research appointments can be via Zoom, chat, phone, or email!
The complete list of databases we offer for finding research resources. You need your 900 number to access these databases from home. List can be sorted alphabetically, by subject, and by content type.

Where do I purchase textbooks for my class?
You can purchase your textbooks at the Bristol CC Bookstore. The Bookstore is located on the Fall River campus with pick up options at the Attleboro, New Bedford, and Taunton locations.
How do I activate online textbooks?
Online textbooks operate in different ways, ask your professor how to use your particular online textbooks.
Who do I talk to about accommodations or assistive technology?
Contact the Office of Disability Services (ODS) about class accommodations and assistive technology.
How can I get a tutor for my class?
You can use Tutor Trac to schedule an online appointment and/or you can check the Drop-In Schedule.

ThinkingStorm is an etutoring platform that Bristol students can access when/if traditional in-person (or remote) tutoring is unavailable from the Learning Commons.
Email Your Paper to the Writing Center
The Writing Center is also offering draft reviews by email. Please submit your draft, assignment sheet, and three concerns about your writing to writing.center@bristolcc.edu. This service is offered Monday through Friday, with a general turnaround time of 24 - 36 hours.
