Reading Scholarly and Scientific Articles: Citing Scientific Artlcles

In the previous tab, we identified the parts of the article required for your citations.  In the APA 7th Edition, you need to identify the items needed for citation, and then arrange them in a specific order.

Example:

Author, A. A., Author, B. B., & Author, C. C. (Year). Title of the article. Title of the Journal, volume, page range. doi:

From the article we found:

Samuel, M. D., Liao, W., Atkinson, C. T., & LaPointe, D. A. (2020). Facilitated adaptation for conservation- Can gene editing save Hawaii's endangered birds from climate driven avian malaria? Biological Conservation, 241, 1-p. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.biocon.2019.108390

*Remember to indent the second line of a citation 1/2 inch.
