What is LGBTQI?

LGBTQ Flag "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month (LGBT Pride Month) is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots in Manhattan. The Stonewall riots were a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States."   For more information please visit: About LGBT Pride Month

The Bristol  Community College Libraries has created an LGBTQI (LGBTQI stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, and Intersex.) LibGuide that pulls together all types of information about LGBTQI topics. This LibGuide can be utilized to share knowledge and information about topics associated with LGBTQI issues and resources. Please feel free to explore what has been created! If you know of any other books, ebooks, videos, articles, internet resources or other resources, please contact Susan Souza-Mort  at susan.souza-mort@bristolcc.edu
