Assignment options:

Option #1: Write a traditional film review that addresses the following question: does Revenge of the Sith’s 20^th Anniversary deserve to be celebrated and why?

Option #2: View the other films in the trilogy (The Phantom Menace & Attack of the Clones). Write an essay that answers the following question: which character in this trilogy has the most compelling narrative arc and why? For this option, you cannot choose Anakin Skywalker

Option #3: It has been suggested that Hayden Christensen deserves an apology for the treatment that he received from Star Wars fans over the decades. Write an essay that answers the following question: do you agree that the Hayden Christensen is owed an apology from fans and why?

Option #4: Toxic fandom has become more widespread with the rise of social media. Write an essay that answers the following question: is toxic fandom significantly undermining franchises such as Star Wars and why?

Option #5: The Prequel Trilogy is considered the most political of the Star Wars series. View the other films in the trilogy (The Phantom Menace & Attack of the Clones). Write an essay that addresses the following: do the political issues that are depicted in the Prequel Trilogy resemble the politics that we are witnessing in our world today and why?
