Citing Sources

Citing your sources is an important part of research and writing papers. To cite your sources in their various formats, follow the instructions and examples found on the sites below. Most papers in the Social Sciences call for APA format, those in the Humanities for MLA, but many teachers leave it up to the student to choose the format he or she prefers. Check your syllabus, or with your instructor, to assure you are using the correct format.
