Citing your sources is a very important part of writing papers. When sources are not cited correctly, properly, or not at all, accusations of plagiarism may be the result. To avoid this outcome, follow the instructions and examples found on the sites below. Most papers in the Social Sciences will call for the APA format, those in the Humanities for MLA, but many teachers leave it up to the student to choose the format he or she prefers.
