Want to play and learn at the same time?

The video game industry has changed tremendously in the past 35 years!  Ms. Pac Man (below) was released in the early 1980's by Midway Manufacturing and became one of the most popular video games of all time.  It is a two-dimensional video game involving Ms. Pac Man eating pellets and the occasional fruit (for added point value).  She also had to avoid ghosts, which could cause her to lose a life!

In the Fall of 2014, Forza Horizon 2 (below) was released by Playground Games.  It is a fast-paced car racing game with amazing graphics that make you feel like you were actually driving the cars!  Video animation quality has made characters and landscapes extremely life-like and real, writers have made games more intricate with numerous levels to attain, programming has become more sophisticated producing the quality that we see in today's games that we didn't see years ago.  If you want to become a part of this rapidly changing industry, you need to be equipped with information and knowledge for your classes, assignments, and eventually, the fast paced world of the video game industry.
