What does an accountant do?

They ensure that financial records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time.     The BCC Academic Catalog states that students graduating with an Associate degree in the Accounting Career Program qualify for entry-level accounting positions.  They can seek employment as junior staff accountants, bookkeepers, loan service representatives, tax preparation assistants, credit and collection associates, and junior financial analysts.

Accessing BCC Library Resources from Off-Campus
