Moving to HELM: Contactless Pickup

General information about moving to HELM

How does it work?

Library Learning Commons Contactless Pickup for Fall River Campus

The Library Learning Commons is pleased to announce that Contactless Pick Up is now available on the Fall River Campus with pick up dates beginning Wednesday, March 31. Bristol Community College students, staff and faculty can obtain books and other physical materials from the Fall River and Taunton collections through our contactless pickup service.

Schedule a pick up during the available times for materials placed on hold using your HELM library account.  Once a pick up is scheduled and confirmed, this walk-up service will be available outside the main entrance of Building A on the Fall River campus.

How does it work?
1. Log into the HELM and sign in using your login.

2. Place holds on available materials.

  •    Currently you can request Fall River and Taunton campus materials only.
  •    If an item is not able to be placed on hold or you have another question - Contact Us!

3. Schedule a pick up.

  •    Wednesdays 8:30am to 12:30pm with 15 minutes between appointments

4. Receive confirmation, instructions, and where to go for your contactless pick up.

  • Fall River Campus pick up location is directly in front of the entrance of A building.
  • Patrons will pick up materials outside of A building. There will be a table set up near the library drop-off bin. There will be NO access to building.
  • Please check out the YouTube Video on the topic.

We encourage patrons to remember the 3 W’s when using this service (Wear a mask, Wash your hands and Watch your distance).
