Nuclear Crisis
Nuclear incidents are rated using a numerical system that indicates the severity of the event.
There are seven levels, and each scale is logarithmic (the severity of the event it 10x greater for each increase in level).
- The Information Channel on Nuclear and Radiological EventsThe IAEA-supported Nuclear Events Web-based System (NEWS), which lists publicly events that were reported in the past 12 months.
