Searching for Books at BCC Libraries
Use the library catalog to find print books, electronic books, and streaming videos. The SAILS Library Catalog allows BCC students to request books from any SAILS Library through the catalog interface as long as the student has registered their BCC Campus Card.
CRJ101 Course Tip: Books will often give you a very broad and in-depth look at a topic. For your annotated bibliography, keep in mind that locating chapters rather than entire books might be the best course of action.

- Books, eBooks, and Streaming Videos can all be located using the SAILS Catalog. However, eBooks and Streaming Videos have dedicated databases available to search for that content specifically.
- Search from search box on the Library Homepage or by clicking the SAILS link below.
- eBooks and Streaming Videos are indicated by links that say BCC Students Click Here.
- If print, record the call number of the book and retrieve it from the shelves.
- Cite your book or book chapter in APA Style.
