Remote Library Services:

  • Books & Media from the BCC Libraries delivered to your local public library. (with an BCC Campus card or SAILS library card)

  • Access to electronic databases

  • Research guides & recommended web resources

  • Phone/email/chat research help

  • eReserves from within the Online Catalog

The BCC Libraries have:

  • A collection of over 67,000 books, 5,000 video tapes, 1500 audio CD’s and tapes

  • Computers for researching the Internet, on-line databases, and word processing

  • More than 300 journals and newspapers

  • Reference staff to assist you with assignment research



You have access to our online catalog from anywhere online. click on BCC/SAILS Catalog. Once in the catalog, you can search for materials and place holds on items that you want. Materials can be delivered to your local public library or any SAILS library that is convenient for you.


BCC Libraries subscribe to numerous databases that provide newspaper and magazine articles and other research information. To access these resources from off campus, from the Library's homepage, Click on "Articles & Databases".

To access BCC databases off campus, please enter your BCC Student ID Number.
